A Thousand Women is a nonprofit organisation committed to empowering women and girls across Africa through education, women's health education, menstrual equity, advocacy, healthcare, and community support.
We believe every woman and girl deserves access to the knowledge, resources and opportunities she needs to learn, grow and lead. Through accessible health education, community-led programmes and practical solutions, we work to address barriers that affect women's wellbeing and participation in everyday life.
